| sometimes... facebook is cool and all and I know it is the new fad. Myspace sucks because I don't got a lot of friends and there are all these strangers that want to be my friend. Anyho....I start a temp job tomorrow at the Borders book store. It will be a little different getting used to a schedule since I have had NO schedule for the past year or so. We'll see how it goes. Being grown up is not all that exciting, and getting married just adds more responsibilities. Oh well, I have a head ache that won't go away and I don't know why...Head ache go away! | | |
| So, I know I used to be able to think of such random and amusing things to write about my life. Life was just so very interesting and exciting being in college and having so many strange evens happening every day. The good thing is my life has slowed down a bit since moving and getting married but now I'm bored and restless. No worries! I have a job coming up (which means I haven't started yet) that I am really excited about. I still try to keep up with old friends but it seems like their lives are way to busy other wise they would answer their phone or write back an email or something!!!! Married life has been good, and I say good because it hasn't been everything I ever imagined it would be, and yet I have had some of the best moments of my life in them so for now I just have to say good. I am definately learning alot about myself that's for sure. I never wanted to be a nagging wife but sometimes I find myself acting like I'm Peter's mother, and that's not good. I was thinking today of all the sweet memories we have built this far and some of the best one's are just driving in the car together and listening to a good song. I've been thinking a lot about life and diseases lately too. Ya think it's because I'm taking a class called Pathology? Hummmm, I will say one thing though and that is it definately opens your eyes to a lot of truth that you probably would much rather not even know about. I heard a lot of really cool stories too. One time after class Pete and I were driving to a resterant and I was telling him something about sperm and eggs and how cool they are and he goes "If you talk about grose stuff any longer I'm going to turn the car around and go back home". I thought that was pretty funny, and totally understandable. I have to keep reminding myself that other people may not be as interested in health and science stuff as I am. I could talk some more about my cadaber lab but I will spare you the details. I will say one thing....Holding a human organ in your hands is an amazing experience, and getting to see a diseased one is another. My brother Jacob is coming to be a star in Pete's film. Yes, we are filming a movie but it is Pete's project and I am just there to help out and be supportive. I'm not a huge fan of violence but Peter is talented and it's pretty fun to shoot scenes. Well, I guess I should probably go now. I accidentally melted a plastic lid in the washing machine and our apartment smells of toxic air so if I am poisoned I want every one to know that you are a good friend. Family I love ya, hubby, just don't kill my cat and I love you and Jesus with all my heart. Sarah | | |
| This weekend's activities: Took the bus to New York to run in the mud, behind my brother's sandhurst team. Random trip and activities? 100%. I decided to go Thursday night and I decided to run one minute before Jeff passed start. Jeff's commander also ran, and he thought I couldn't do it or keep up, (or he thought I was just plan nieve or stupid to run in such conditions) I simply told him, "I tied my shoes real tight". Indeed they did not come off my feet even though I ran through mud up to my knees. I was a bit behind but I kept up! One, to SUPPORT MY BROTHER WHO I AM SO PROUD OF OF! Two, so I wouldn't get run over by the Brits who were the next team behind us. (I pretending like they were going to kill me if they caught up, it helps you run faster). My brother and his team did an AWSOME job! They ran for miles through the mud, up and down hill. Go team F1!!! | | |
| Well, it's 2am and this is what I get for drinking green tea after three. Spring is happy, the weather is finally getting warmer. Wonderful wonderful. I am a happy wife. Still waiting for my job, but I have a feeling it is coming! Cotton played on the balcony today and she had a dirty nose. I starting a new work out routine and it's kicking my butt! I'm already starting to tell the different between jello and metal. The trick? 3x wk. 40 min interval cardio, walk 2min run 1min.; 3x wk strength training; 2x wk. 40min moderate cardio, walking cycling or swimming. Then every week add on extra reps. and change up the min. | | |
| This is my man...He's so hot and handsome I just had to show him off. This was taken way back when he was still in the Marines....And he is not an assassin despite what people think. I am the assassin! Haha just kidding. Does burning ticks with a match count? | | |
